

After designing several mocks and after several rounds of design reviews with the business owner and the team, I created the above final design of the landing page, services page and the FAQ page.

Research Phase
The website was set up to provide customers information about the business, the services they provided and the contact information in order to set up an appointment. However, the website had very little information and the only means to book an appointment was through phone calls or emails.

Aldershot Dental is a dentistry located in Burlington, Ontario, right near the waterfront of Lake Ontario. It is owned by Melanie Bianco, a Registered Restorative Dental Hygienist with more than 18 years of experience, and managed by Kimberly Dobson, who has over 20 years of customer service and management experience. The dentistry's staff work to provide the community with quality dental services to support families in maintaining great oral hygiene.

Problem Statement
The existing website lacked essential information, had inconsistent branding, and offered no online appointment scheduling, leading to decreased user engagement.
Process
Research : Through a comprehensive UX audit, I identified key user pain points, such as difficulty finding service information and booking appointments. Customer journey mapping revealed a need for a more intuitive navigation system.
Design and Ideation : I introduced an online booking system to streamline appointment scheduling, redesigned the website with a modern aesthetic to enhance user experience, and optimized images to improve loading times.

Develop and Test
Finally, I developed the website based on the mockups. The business owner was extremely pleased, expressing that we did an amazing job. The owner shared the website link with 50 users for testing, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive; users found the website clean and easy to navigate. As a result, the owner received two new form submissions from potential clients.
